Traditional Abruzzo salame is made from a mixture of lean meat and fat, chopped in medium-sized pieces, to which salt, pepper and other herbs are added. It is then dried between two wooden boards, giving it its characteristic flattened shape. The salame is then matured for a further month before it is ready to be eaten.
It is recommended to always remove the skin of the sausage before slicing it in order not to alter its delicate flavours. For your appetizers, snacks or snacks, Abruzzo salametto will never disappoint you.
