Lardo di Maiale
It is served on its own with freshly toasted bread or as an addition to hors d’oeuvres, or as an accompaniment to croutons, cheeses and red wine.
Lardo is a slice of pork meat taken from subcutaneous fat of neck, back and hips. It is flavoured, putting in tanks, after salting and absorption of spices, it is vacuum packaged. Lard is suitable on hot bread and bruschetta. It is gluten-free and lactose-free.
