Focaccia is the Bari snack par excellence. There is no time of day when it is better to eat it, in fact, in the city’s bakeries it is ready from early morning and the smell it emanates spreads through the streets. It is used as a substitute for lunch or dinner, but it can also be eaten at any other time of day, just for the fun of it, and it is not uncommon to meet people enjoying it in the street.
